Principal Guest Conductor, Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra (2005-2007). In 2005, the Seoul City government sent shockwaves through the classical music community by announcing a complete restructuring of that city's most prestigious musical organization in a bid to bring to the orchestra to a truly world-class level. Bundit was selected by Music Director Myung-Whun Chung to help bring that transformation about. He took part in the extensive audition process for new musicians, and was given the honor of conducting the orchestra in their inaugural concert. In his post as Principal Guest Conductor, he has conducted the orchestra both at their home in Seoul and also on regional and international tours.
